1. Remote into your server in the farm where central admin is installed.
2. Open regedit [Start > Run > "regedit"]
3. Navigate to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Web Server Extensions\14.0\Secure\ConfigDB]
4. Open the [dsn] key.
Done! You now have your config database name.
It should look something like this.

3. Navigate to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Web Server Extensions\14.0\Secure\ConfigDB]
4. Open the [dsn] key.
Done! You now have your config database name.
